A visit to the West Country

James and James took a trip to the West Country to visit family and friends, and whilst in Devon and Cornwall took the opportunity to re-visit two treasures, Saltram Park and Lanhydrock. James S grew up in the area, and so while the houses are familiar, seeing them with the knowledge of the research of the last six years put a totally new spin on them. Both houses are managed by the National Trust, and are available to visit year-round.
