BYRGA GENIHT director James Syrett worked with BYRGA GENIHT's consultant, James D. Wenn, to produce this lecture prop for public education days at National Trust Sutton Hoo in partnership with Thegns of Mercia back in 2023. Since then, the research this graphic was made to convey has picked up great momentum.

After much additional research, an academic paper is under peer review (we will update you at publication), and even the British Museum has honoured us, collaborating to use the graphic power of James' illustration to present their researchers' work on the same objects to the world's public in their blockbuster exhibition Silk Roads, which runs until 23 February 2025.

BYRGA GENIHT gives the exhibition five stars... If you would like to see what all the hype is about, make sure to book your ticket and see the show while it still runs.
