NEW VIDEO: Erkenwald

Our latest video is a real tour-de-force by our vocal artist and composer Harry Frost. His reading of the poem Erkenwald in the original Middle English is an internet premiere for a work widely acknowledged by connoisseurs to be the finest piece of English literature from this period in the development of our language.

The rendering of the lost shrine of St. Erkenwald (based on the famous engraving by Wenceslaus Hollar) has been produced alongside the performance in preparation for a conference in spring 2024.
