Photoshoot

The tetractys and the Platonic Lamda were profound icons to the Ancient Greek mathematicians. This artwork commissioned by BYRGA GENIHT is intended to reconnect us with the power of these constructs and the meaning they hold across millennia.

Today, the piece was officially unveiled in a photoshoot in the monument at Braxted Park, Essex — one of the country's most important country houses in the story of English architecture.

The woodwork for the piece was made by superstar joiner Shay Shani of Beckingham designs, while the numerical counters are by master glass artist Caroline Weidman.

Thank you to both artisans for their incredible work on this piece, and to Duncan Clark of Braxted Park for the loan of this highly evocative location.
