On the last day of May, Byrga Geniht visited one of England's most important churches: All Saints', Landbeach. The ancient history of this church is told in the history of Corpus Christi College in our special resources section, but James also took the opportunity to buy some excellent guides to the church and village by Dr Ray Gambell.

By coincidence, our consultant James met up with Dr Gambell at the church, and James both joined the Friends of All Saints', Landbeach (FOAL), and set up a lecture (TBC). It is unclear who asked who! This lecture will be an extension of the series featuring St Mary Abchurch, London, on 17 August 2023, 16:00, but focusing on the extraordinary theological, philosophical and cultural legacies of three great Corpus Christi rectors of All Saints': Matthew Parker, William Rawley Sr, and Robert Masters.

James found it very affecting to make a pilgrimage to this special place... but some of the more permanent residents seem less enchanted by its sanctity..!
