Weidman Glass

A visit to Weidman Glass to collect a BYRGA GENIHT commission. Brilliantly talented glass artist Caroline Weidman has created for us a scaled-up design from the Staffordshire Hoard jewellery. Made from fifty pieces of hand-cut, fused glass, this piece measures nine inches to a side, and will be used as a lecture aid. Naturally, we brought a bottle of champagne, and Caroline gifted us some of her exquisite hand-blown Christmas baubles.

We look forward to working more with Caroline in her new workshop later this year.
